We know you recognize how important the arts are to a vibrant community.  Without art, the breadth and creativity of our
own community is silenced, and the visions of our own artists suppressed.  Yet, in a time when we need the creativity
and the vision of artists to counter mass apathy and ignorance, state and local government budgets are getting tighter,
and arts funding is being drastically reduced or eliminated.

All of this means that organizations like The Photomedia Center must increasingly look for financial support from
individuals, and be ever more innovative in our efforts to sustain and promote the arts.  We hope that after you get to
know us, you’ll be ready to help lend a hand to support our center and further arts in our community.

WAYS TO HELP SUPPORT OUR WORK

There are many ways to help The Photomedia Center achieve its goals.  Simply becoming a sponsoring member
means you want to be a part of our expanding community that loves the photographic arts. You can also keep our
programs growing with any amount donation. Our suggested contribution is just $30, about the cost of membership to
any local museum.

Additionally, The Photomedia Center is applying for various grants to facilitate our upcoming programs. Some of these
grants may require matching funds, and another way to show your support for our center would be to make an individual
donation that matches funds to these grants!

Some individuals have decided to guarantee purchases for our summer juried exhibition.  This is a great way to support
the arts, as well as the individual artists whose work will be featured.  By guaranteeing a purchase, you will be able to
choose your favorite piece from the exhibits and add it to your collection for display at home or the office.

Of course, we understand that with our fluctuating economy, finances are tight and unpredictable, and individuals may
have to make the difficult decision of deciding where their charitable dollars go.  If you are not able to contribute
monetarily at this time, we hope you might consider volunteering some of your time. We can always use assistance in
organizing our events.

As Henry James said, it is art that makes life and art that makes importance.  We hope at this time that you can help The
Photomedia Center contribute to our community's arts scene.  If you have any questions or concerns about your
contribution or about The Photomedia Center’s operations and offerings, please don’t hesitate to contact me personally
by email at eric@photomediacenter.org.

Here’s looking forward to a more vibrant, more robust arts presence in our community!

Kind Regards,
Eric Grignol
