Jeff Louviere and Vanessa Brown have been collaborating on photographic images and movies since they first met in the mid-90s. Under the
moniker Louviere+Vanessa they have created moody, atmospheric visuals with various equipment, including the Holga medium format camera,
altering the negatives and creating assemblages. Works from their Slumberland series were previously featured at the Photomedia Center last year,
and several pieces from it are presented in this current exhibition, including “The Son,” a recent addition to Slumberland not previously exhibited
elsewhere. Alongside it are images from their Creature series, scientific-like specimens of human and animal forms.
